i got an XTI, my pictures are not nearly as good as the ones above but i will reccomend this camera, for the price it takes outstanding shots.

I have a 40D, not an Xti...but the whole point of this camera is having the ability to change lenses. If you are strictly going to stick with the stock 18-55 trainer lens...which isn't anything to write home about...why not look into the G9 or other point and shoot?
