y u no grow candycane!!!!

franky how big is one of your heads on your candycane because mine a pretty small, I have to squint to see the tiny little tenticles that don't even come all the way out when I feed them

This is what they look like after they eat

They shrink lol

Oh well mine are nickel sized right now when the are shrunken so hopefully they split soon I only have two heads and they wont extend their tenticles out when feeding for some reason

I usually add some cyclopzees to the tank first. This usually gets everyone excited and gets their feeders out when fully extended I target feed brine shrimp. Works everytime

ok, so it's been ten days and my candycanes still only have two heads but they are becoming very weird blob shapes instead of round when they are pop up so does that mean they are about to split soon?

Well I got my 2 head candy cane around Xmas it's still 2 heads. But my torch and hammer both went from 2 heads to 6 :deadhorse1::deadhorse1:

moonyrat I got mine in October so it's been a loooong time and one of the heads are getting very stretched out so Im guessing it's about to split soon finally!!!!

If you only have a 14g biocube then I wouldn't worry about dosing, there's to much room for error for dosing that size tank without being familar with dosing. I think your growth issue is related to low levels of ca/mg/dkh like others have said. To correct your issue I would buy the red sea coral pro salt, the one with elevated levels and I would do a weekly 2 gallon water change. Changing 2 gallons of water weekly would take no more than 10 minutes and I think you would see a huge benefit in doing this. Leave the candy canes at the bottom and spot feed 2x-3x a week so you don't over feed and do the weekly water changes, I think that course of action will fix your problem and promote growth for all your corals. Even though your nutrient parameters are good such as nitrates and what not that doesn't mean you need to stop doing water changes. Salt has Ca/DKH/Mg in it naturally and corals soak those 3 parameters in order to grow and if you stop doing water changes they will use up all those elements and stop growing. I've done weekly water changes on my 180g and 75g for years and wouldn't do it any other way personally, water changes for my two tanks take 15 minutes each with the way I have it set up and I dont think a 2 gallon WC for you would take any longer than 10 minutes. Best of luck and I hope it works out for you.
