Yasha Goby

Does anyone out there have experience keeping more than one yasha goby in

the same tank? I have a 65 gallon tank with a 30 gallon sump. I already have

one ocellaris clown, yellow coris, blue hippo and chromis. Are they staying

active? I love this little fish.

Would also recommend getting a pistol shrimp along with it. We have one in our 12g with a pistol and it is doing great. It is the most friendly fish I have seen as is shares its burrow with other gobies. That being said I don't think it would be too happy if I added another yasha of the same sex.

Do you guys have any other recommendation. I’m looking for active, small, attractive fish

which will stay near the bottom of my tank. I don’t want any sand sifting gobies.

I have two Yashas in a 75... and they do *not* like each other. I'm looking to upgrade, or move one yasha to a different tank.

The only way I would recommend this is to find a mated pair. Otherwise, these little fish can be surprisingly nasty to each other.

For an active bottom dweller, a red dragonet. But only if you QT him and get him accepting mysis and pellets, before adding him to your display tank. And your tank should have plenty of live rock for pods to populate.
