Check this out guys... i've been waiting 2 weeks for a LFS to get this color in ....what you think ....

They are not hard, just neglected . I've found feeding is a necessity with these corals. People throw them in the tank and never feed the poor things, then wonder why they start slowly dieing.

I feed mine at least once a week a mix of powdered flake, Spirulina, Cycloeeze, Selcon, and mashed up marine pellets. I will feed 2x's a week once the new 120g tank gets setup and they go in it though. I've got one Goni that I've had for over a year & 1/2 and is doing great. T
 
Nice goni. I have seen that color combo around here a few times and it is always an eye catcher. Remindes me of strawberries and bananas. Nice part is the red ones are hardier.

I'll post if it drops any , but I also plan on fragging the colony next month....

Wow those are so nice. I am always tempted to purchase some but I dont have the time to keep them properly.

Did the tenticles fully expand yet? I've been eyeing those too...

I agree with the feeding statement.

The red and yellow are my faves, most likely G. palmensis, but could be G. somaliensis as, both great species, they like higher light and higher flow than most others.
