Yellow Bellied Hippo Tang

After 6 weeks of my wife begging me for a "Dory" fish, I finally found a gorgeous speciment at The Reef Shoppe. It is a Yellow Bellied Hippo and is truly stunning. Under my blues it is difficult to see her yellow belly but as she matures it will become much more pronounced as well as reds in her dorsal fins. My yellow tang is none too excited to have her in the reef :(

Gotcha...definitely not trying to rain on yer parade but you might find it difficult to house those tangs diverge in that size tank...i hope you have good luck though!

I told my wife that we would one day have to rehome her Dory fish due to size and territory issues. The next morning she announced, "I know how to rearrange to make room for a 125 gallon. How blessed am I? So, yes, I am aware. Sometime in the next year or so we will be upgrading. Thanks!

Lucky lucky man you are!!!

Lucky man! Thats a good way to trick them but letting them buy a fish that will outgrow their current home :P That will become one beautiful tang!

Apparently my video link didn't work out very well. Easy enough to go to youtube and put in yellow bellied hippo tang.

Here are some "better" pictures. Little bugger is nervous with me right in front of the tank and very fidgety.
