Yellow Clown Goby a sps problem? (Gobiodon okinawae)

So, I think I just made a key error in reefing. While at the LFS buying my carefully thought out decision to buy a Kole Tang, I made an impulse purchase --a great looking Yellow Clown Goby (Gobiodon okinawae). Now i knew that I had passed on this fish before, but couldn't remember why. When I asked if it was "safe", the LFS said it does NOT eat sps but does perch on it. I figured in a large 75g, such a small fish couldn't possibly really annoy them that much. Now I read they EAT them!!!!

I think this fish may never be allowed to leave my QT. Should I give it away? What are the odds of keeping one (not mated and nesting) Yellow Clown Goby without it destroying my tank?

Man, I just wanted a cool looking, little, yellow fish to match the kole. bummer.....

I'll post some pics in a few...

Yup. I made the same mistake. I was able to catch him and get a small credit from the LFS a couple days later. Read my story for full details. Once he is settled, he WILL (ok 99.9% likely -- to avoid flame) start chomping on those little polyps.
