Yellow clown goby gone.

So about 4 weeks ago I added a Lubbocks Wrasse to my 30g. He was eating, swimming, and 14 days later, he was dead. 2 weeks ago, I added a yellow clown goby. He was eating, swimming, buddies up with my 7 y/o percula and was doing great. I came home, and he's no where. I don't have a big tank, and theres very few places I can't see in it. I have a Coral Banded, and an emerald crab, and my assumption is its one of the two. Is there anything I can do to try and figure it out so i can remove the right culprit?

If one of those crabs finished him off, he was dying anyway. That said, make sure that what you have is a true emerald crab. There's another species (can't remember the name off the top of my head and don't have my books with me) that looks very similar but doesn't touch algae and kills fish.

That said, I wouldn't give up home. I've had larger fish disappear for weeks in smaller tanks than that. You'd be amazed at the hiding places those guys can find.

I've definitely got an emerald crab, he never stops picking at algae,
He's the best CUC member I have, but i don't want this to keep happening..I did notice the clown goby was pretty pale in color yesterday, I was wondering if maybe he was stung by a Coral in my tank, since he perched on everything. So you don't think my shrimp or crab hunted anything down? If they killed the two fish, they were likely already in bad shape?

Yes, I'd bet that if the either the shrimp or the crab killed the fish, it's likely the fish were already on their way out.

So i shouldn't just remove one then. I was gonna take it back to the LFS and just maybe get a cleaner or another pepoermint instead because I was afraid he was killing them
