Yellow Clown Goby Has Skin Color Bumps

My yellow clown gobies have an outbreak of skin color bumps and flap like tissue all over. What can i do to treat them? Is it deadly? Will it spread to the other clown gobies in my tank?

I have seen this but have not been able to figure out what exactly causes it. I have not seen a yellow clown goby in any LFS around here that does not have this condition. I would be interested to find out what exactly this is. It's not like ich. I have not seen anything similar on other fish.

Can you post parameters?
How long have you had the gobies and if these are recent additions, how did you acclimate?
If they can be caught I would consider putting them in QT, no copper, feed them well with vitamin and garlic supplements added to the food and maybe treat with melafix.

Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0, Ammonia 0, PH 8.2. Just got them recently. Drip Acclimated them i did read up a bit on it and said its only a disease for yellow clown gobies? Anyone treat this successfully?

The thing about gobies is that you are limited in treatment. I use melafix, some say maracyn works (not necessarily for this, but in general), a good diet and just keep an eye on them.

I know its an old thread, but I'm currently having the same issue! Its weird, like its not ick...its like the bumps are yellow...I am currently dosing cupermine. He was eating some of my sps corals and ever since I moved him into quarantine he has broken out in this stuff...its been 3 days now and he seems to be recovering. I wonder if its a malnutrition thing? I'v had the fish for like 10 months though and all the sudden this happened...I dont think its the quarantine tank either. I'v had it constantly running for 10 months now as well. I dosed the cupermaine in a low dosage however. So low my snails and hermits are still alive after the second dose? I just went under what the directions said. He seems to be still wanting food, but only takes a few pieces here and there and spits a lot out...something he use to not do...
