Yellow Colony Polyp Corals

My Yellow Colony Polyp Corals recently started to "krinkle" and break apart. They also have retracted. The rest of my corals are doing excellent (Xenias, coco worms, zoanthids, mushrooms). Nothing changed that I can think of. Had water tested at LFS and all is good.

I have mine in low light and low flow (just enough that they sway a little) and they grow great. But they do require feeding or the colony will start to disapear. Have you been feeding yours?

i have my main colony on top right under t5 adn they do well lots of flow, another colony on in the sand bed doing well. I rarly feed, but they do eat a when I feed the tank. not much info to go by to trouble shoot

How do you feed them? I have a yellow polyp colony and a lot of the polyps have dissapeared and now i'm only left with 5 polyps. I alway's wondered why they keep dissapearing, but now it may be something to do with the feeding. I used to feed them brine shrimp, but the colony would grab the shrimp and just let go after 10 minutes so I quit feeding them.

to target feed i turn off the pumps/powerheads and gently squirt food at them with a turkey baster, i then guard them witht ehtirkey baster so my cleaner shrimp do not steal all the food. usually they will grap food when i feed the fish though so i done target deed to often, it does make them grow fast though. mine seem to like bloodworms and mysys among other things
