Yellow-eye Kole tang

I have enjoyed our new kole tang for about 3 weeks now. It has been grazing on our liverock constantly and occasionally nipping at the seaweed clip. It doesn't eat mysis, flakes, or zooplankton. I have noticed the kole's coloration fading and I know it isn't getting all the nutrients it needs. Are there any other foods that I can try for a grazer? I am starting to worry.

It took about 3 weeks before mine started to eat, he was only grazing algea. Don't ask me why, but all of a sudden he started to eat cyclop eez, mysis and brine. Still doesn't eat flake.

ours ate frozen algea right away and is now eating chaeto and mysis.....his color is also fading!!! is it an age thing? didn't want to steal the thread, just my 2 cents...lol

try giving him some garlic and test the water parameters

The Kole I used to have went crazy for Spectrum pellets.
