yellow eye tang

is a kole yellow eye tang a good fit for a 55 gallon reef tank?

Unfortunately Tangs like a lot of room and become very territorial. You really shouldn't consider any unless you are planning to move up to a 75 gallon or larger in the near future.

I have a Purple in my 110 gallon and I really consider it marginal. All a 110 gallon is is an extra tall 75 gallon. I take that into consideration and even though I hope to move up to a 120 gallon (2'X2'X4') I wouldn't add another tang to a 120 either.
