Yellow Fiji Leather

I received this yellow leather three days ago from DF&S, and it was kinda beat up. It has seen developed brown necrotic tissue intwo spots. I knwo this is bad, but I am wondering a few things:

1. Will it recover if I leave it alone?

2. Do I need to cut the necrotic tissue away, and then it will heal?

3. Its a goner and I should frag it and hope the frags will live?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, as it is a gorgeous specimen.

By the way if I cut it does it void my return policy from DF&S?

I bought the same coral, arrived in the same manner as yours. I know it has been two days already -- mine didn't make it twenty-four hours -- but if it looks like it is still salvageable, call them before you frag it. They instructed me to cut the crown which I did but unfortunately each frag died as well. F&S gave me a full refund. It is a beautiful coral, but is also very fragile.
