Yellow Fuzzy going down

I got an ORA yellow fuzzy coral which looks to be on its way out. It has not had any pe since I put it in my tank. Anyone out there with this coral that knows what it likes in terms of light and flow? This was an awesome looking coral at the store and I would very much like not to lose it.

though coral to keep alive. probably one of the most sensitive acro to parameter changes out of all of ORA corals. Generally grown out at the Marshall Island facility and doesn't stay in Fl for too long either.

Keep it in high flow and light, along with stable parameters.

Does good in my tank and my parameters are far from stable. Still dosing 2part by hand daily.. One lf these days I will plug in my bubble magus dosing unit ;)

Strange, its probably my toughest coral. It was my first acro and hung on through 6 months of no water changes and poor maint. when my first daughter was born. As soon as I got back on schedule it bounced right back. Mine is under high light and a ton of flow.

When they are truly grown in captivity, they can get rather hardy but the ones straight from the facility are really sensitive to shipping and tank changes. I've found the same thing with all of the MI pieces. If they stay in one system than they do fine if you know what you are doing but side funk got it from the store. Stores usually cannot sit on the acro too long, although I don't know where you got the yellow fuzzy from. Plus, any ora frags on the white plugs are really nice pieces but are not quite as hardy. ;) (MI Purple and Green Acro, Blue Bottlebrush, Yellow Fuzzy)

Thanks all. I will try and put into more flow and hope for the best. It is loosing a bit of tissue, do you think it would be okay to frag or is that just dooming it?

i got my frag in last month. its mid level in tank under 250w MH and is where there is a high level of flow. its doing good, hasnt started to grow fast or nothing but u can see signs of good health and small growth.

Don't know if the two are related but I changed my bulb to a phoenix 14K and now it looks like the fuzzy yellow which I thought was a goner might be coming back. I probably should not have said anything because it will curse any new growth, but I'm psyched to see this coral might make a come back! Will update in another 6 month or so to see where it stands.
