Does Yellow Clown Goby eat SPS polyps?

I just put one yellow goby in my 120-gallon mix reef tank two days before. Yesterday night when i closed all light and turn off all pumps i saw Yellow goby was gating one of Acros polyps or I don’t know it was something else, which is look like that Goby is eating polyps of SPS.

Any suggestion.

Guys,

Please do not bother yourself to get more about Yellow Clown Goby.:fish1:

I got the reply from Yellow Clown Goby by itself.:sad2:

Normal every day 5 evening I reach my home from office and directly sit front of the aquarium to get relax and for observation. All SPS polyps tell me that, they are fine doing well.

But yesterday when I reached home as usual, there was some this different in the aquarium. Can you believe that no even single polyp was visible from any Acro, and Mr/Miss Yellow Clown Goby is continuously nipping the polyps.

It was my good luck that I able to catch :uzi::fish1:this harvester from one of the Acro and put it in the sump.

Good experiment:wavehand:

how did u catch the goby? i need to catch mine as well. since i got the goby, my sps havent been open in over a week and they're starting to worse every day.

Luckly I has one SPS without attached with the rock, I just put inside some rock work to SPS able to hold the strung current in side the tank, I found Goby in side that coral, without waisting the time and before it move to another coral i put my net on that coral, bring it out from the aquarium and able to catch Goby :uzi:. there is no another way to catch this fish, because it normaly feed on the SPS polyps and live inside the corals. I tried a lot of kind of food, white meat, shrimps etc. etc, but Goby loves polyps:mad:

Tell me, if you get able to catch this fish:thumbsup:

yep, i tricked mine by leaving a net in it hang out spot for 2 days. then when it got used to it and came back i fed the tank. once he was near the net and facing away from it, scoop!

Yes, M88A2 he is absolutely right. You can try so, I have caught a lot of fishes like that, but once fish is friendly with you, you can do so, some time my fishes eat from my hand. I caught my silfin tang the same way.
