Yellow multi banded pipe

Have you had these before? I have there holding tank ready for them. I requested small ones in hope to get them to feed easier on prepared foods

I haven't. I have a 75 gallon with well aged live rock that has been set up for over 3 years ready for them. I feed a wide variety of foods both frozen and refrigerated. My only concern is temp. What are you going to be keeping them at?

I kept a pair of banded pipes for a year until an unusually warm spell killed them. The tank is in a much more temperature controlled environment (basement).

I'll be keeping mine at 74 I think just for bacterial reasons. I'm working on getting there tank setup which will be kept at the same temp. Macro algae only

Just curious if it's a diff species. Like the many banded pipe and its being called Aussie banded... There are 2 banded pipefish. One with wider bands and one with many narrower bands..

Ya they are pretty difficult to get them to eat frozen but they have been bred in captivity so I have high hopes.

Nice. That's always encouraging :) local wholesaler has the Aussie guy so I might pick it up.. Don't see them as much as the regular bandeds

No you don't. Been on the waiting list for over 6 months for these guys and I finally got to jump. Was my Christmas gift! I have every food possible in my freezer that you could think of to attempt to feed them with and I'll have my brine culture brewing tomorrow night so they are ready foe them on Friday when they get in
