Yellow P. ciliate

I've been practicing my photography skills with my mantis shrimp. Here's the best one I got of her, a yellow-phase Pseudosquilla cilate. She's just molted, and is a bit over an inch and a half long. Here name, of course, is Chiquita, though I may have to change that if she stops being yellow. Enjoy!

Awesome pic. I almost ordered a very similar mantis before I came across my moster peacock mantis.

i saw the one at maru two days ago

I called them a couple of days ago to see if they had that beautiful peacock still I saw there a few weeks ago. They said they had it and a "golden" also. I was wondering what species but didn't feel like taking the 30 minute drive there. Might have to now if it's similar to the one in the pic.

Nope, that wasn't from maru. I forgot to update my profile: I've moved away from Virginia.

I got this ciliata from LiveAquaria Diver's Den. They've had quite a few yellow-phase ciliata lately. The price is steep, but I can't say I regret it.
