yellow plate coral

My LFS has two plate corals.One pink the other yellow. The yellow is stunning under the blue lighting. I've seen the pink many times, but never a yellow. Do plates come in yellow,or is it most likely a dyed specimen?

They do come in yellow, pretty rare though, I would snatch it up and hope it doesn't turn orange. Actually I'd take the pink one too, never seen one of those.

I bought the yellow. I will try to post pics as soon as my camera is out of shop. It is truly a beautiful specimen, and a pleasure to watch.

nice find unfortunately we only get green or orange ones around here all the time!

the most unique ones I saw are bright red & bright purple.

yes orange & green & purple rim & spotted are relatively common among here too.
