Yellow rock nem

My yellow rock nem looks as though he has been injured. The side of him looks like it was ripped or something. This happened about 2 weeks ago. Now he looks like he has some type of an infection on the wound sight. It is a white cottony looking substance. Any suggestions on how this littlw dude can be saved?

Unfortunately I am unable to take a pic but you are correct, it is a yellow beaded crucifer nem. I have others but not quite as colorful as this one. He's not really looking that great. He was doing great until the injury took place.

I once read an article that Julian Sprung wrote about treating an anemone with antibiotics. You might be able to search the web for the article. I unfortunately cannot recall the name of the antibiotic or the dosage or route of administration.
