Yellow Spots on toadstool

Hi!!

Can anyone help me identify these yellow spots on my toadstool?

I saw my peppermint shrimps hanging out around the toadstool the other day so i don't know if these spots have anything to do with them.

The water parameters are:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 5
PH 8.3
Alk 10
Temp 80
Calcium 440
Salinity 1.025

Do they move?

Looks almost like some granules of undisolved salt might of fell on it and bleached those spots.

no they don't. I don't think they are granules of undisolved salt cause i use real ocean water, however, I added Marine buffer PH adjuster to raise the alkalinity a couple of days ago, could it have the same effect?

Definitely could have been the buffer particles.
