Yellow Striped Maroon Behavior Q

I am thinking of adding a yellow striped maroon to my semi aggrssive FOWLR. From what I have read, I am confident that he can hold his own with my mix. My concern is their aggression. I know that the clown will not be able to really harm any of my other fish, except perhaps the damsel which probably won't be a big problem b/c the tank is large enough for them to keep away from each other. My concern is that the clown will take a quarter of the tank as his own hosting area and chase every fish out of the area who tries to swim nearby. I really do no want to loose a large amount of swimming room for the rest of my fish because of the clown. My current stock is listed in my signature.

In my 56 semi aggressive I have a pair of YSM clowns, a foxface, coral beauty, and a lunar wrasse that I'm trying to remove. They get along fine. The only one I would worry about would be the picasso if it's been in there a while.

Hard to say, they're such individuals, some more aggressive than others. I have a Maroon pair in my 75 hosting in a BTA. They don't bother the other fish unless they really get close, mostly the Blue Devil Damsel. My Yellow Tang, Singapore Angel can be very close to their territory (BTA) without a problem. In fact, at times the fish end up touching/bumping with no sign of agression whatsoever. Both the tang and the angel are as large or larger than the female maroon. Plenty of swimming room in the 75 for everyone even with the Maroons, their chosen territory is quite small.

The maroons have yet to spawn so I'm not sure whether that will heighten agressive behaviour, but if you're planning to add only one, that shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks. An anemone does not seem like something I could add with the puffer and triggers. I am not too woried about aggression from my Picasso toward the clown because he is still fairly small and tame. Plus, I will be adding the clown along with the pinktail trigger and flame angel at the same time. This should curb aggression. I am getting the clown from a local reefer who has it in quarantine now and has treated the clown for flukes, internal parasites, and with copper.Copper will be done next week so I can add the clown directly to display without quarantine.
