Yellow tang bullying Powder blue tang

I just added a powder blue tang to my 10ft (1000gl) tank. All other fish are taking it well but a yellow tang keeps chasing the powder blue tang. The yellow tang is not even adult size. Should I do something about it. I have 10 tang in the tank and all of them seem indifferent except this yellow tang.

Keep on feeding, the yellow gets distracted and soon the Powder blue gains trust and starts gaining control... :-)

you can try the mirror trick and see how that works. Honestly, I think it will be back to normal in a couple days. Yellow tangs can be jerks. They can flip a switch in a heartbeat.

Is there any damage to the PB? I wouldn't worry about it or intervein unless the fins are damaged etc. I'm sure the PB will eventually turn the tables as they are known for being "alpha" type fish.

I know my PB is the king of my 240 and exhibits that same behavior as your yellow to new additions. Eventually they all go about foraging together once the hierarchy is established.

Any new additional fish to an existing territorial established fish will always be bullied. PB tang is a very fast swimmer, it will most likely to survive the bulling. Thing should seattled in a few days.
