Yellow tang HELP

I just got a yellow tang. A few hours later I noticed a white strip across his body, I think it's on both sides. Does this mean he is going to die? Is there anything I can do to help him? Also, why is this happening?

When I first put in my tank for about 6 hours my lights were on. I just turned it off and checked back on him about 2 hours later is when I noticed that white line across his body. I hope he can survive. I'm really worried now.

He's fine. I'm not sure what the line is but it normally shows up when the lights are off. I'm sure someone will chime in with the realname for it. But don't worry bout it.

Totally normal.. every yellow tang ive ever owned has had it and oddly only when the lights dim or go off But its good to ask questions when your new so the only stupid question is.. the one you dont ask good luck
