Yellow Tang Ich!! Plz Help!

He's been in my tank for a couple of weeks now, and has been eating normally. I have just been feeding a cube of frozen food once a day, that he shares with a couple of damsels. I just noticed white spots all over his body, coulod it be his diet? I was reading the threads, and am planning to add garlic to the diet? Plzz help!

Not diet at all. Ich is a parasite that was either brought in on the tang of the damsels already had it and it has now spread. If you would QT EVERYTHING FIRST before adding to main tank this would not happen. You must put in QT and use hypo(easiest/safest) or use copper(sometimes dangerous). If you have nothing else in your tank such as live rock or sand/coral/inverts then you can do hypo in your main tank for no less than 4-6 weeks minimum. Garlic is an old reefers tale and does not cure ich.
