But since I'm not expert on photography I doesn't show well. Nor is the belly of the Tang white. I tried fresh water bath but no parasites were evident.

And now my new Yellow eye Tang? has got it too

Except that its getting gray areas instead of brown.

This is overall view of the tank

It has been running app. half a year since setup. All the corals are do very good. Same with Clown fishes.

I've tried to google but I have not found an answer yet so do you have any ideas what might be wrong. The fishes are eating and swimming normally compared to previous and other similar that I have seen.

Have they been battling? The Kole tang looks like it has been beat up by another tang.

The Yellow looks really bad. Very thin, tail looks like he has been attacked, plus the brown splotches. What are you feeding? Have you treated for Flukes? (Prazipro). It doesn't look like ick at least as far as I can tell from the pics.

I have not seen the tangs fight, but it is possible that they do so.

I'm feeding the fishes spirulina flakes several times a day and occasional schrimp like every other day. I have not treated the yellow tang other than one fresh water bath three weeks ago.

yeah, they look pretty harsh. I hope you find what's wrong. I'd treat them and QT them, individually if possible. also, is that bubble algae on your rocks?

You will probably need to get some other food. New Life spectrum pellets seem to be very good, and also supplement with varieties of frozen foods.

It wouldn't hurt to treat with Prazipro also in case they have flukes.

But I think the yellow is suffering from diet issues, and I think the Kole battled with the yellow when you put it in, which is normal tang behavior. Possibly the clowns have chewed on the yellow's tail too.

In the future, when adding a new fish, you will need to watch for battles. You can minimize battles by using an acclimation box, or re-arranging the tank, or using a mirror to distract the aggressor, or by adding some egg crate to keep them separated.

Of course, quarantining new fish is always preferred too.

What are your water parameters? the blotches could be either from poor water quality (high ammonia, Nitrates, low pH) or bacterial infection.
I would definitely do a large water change and monitor water quality closely.
The yellow tang is in poor health. Start feeding nori/seaweed daily on a clip. Put a sheet in the tank so that they eat it throughout the day. This usually fattens them up quickly. Also try feeding NLS pellets like mentioned above.
If its eating well and still looking thin, then you probably are dealing with flukes or internal parasites which need to be treated with prazipro or metro (in qt).

I'll bet the clown has a role in the YT's condition too. If you could move it to another tank or if you have a sump to give him some relief, I'd try that. The stress of capture might kill him though.

Thanks for replies.

Water parameters are following
Temp 25degrees C, salinity 1.025, PH 8,3, NO3 0mg/l, NO2 0mg/l, NH3/4 0mg/l, Ca 400mg/l and KH 10.

And yes that is bubble algae and I have one Mitrax crab to unsuccesfully taking care of it.

As I said the YT is eating very well and swimming a lot. Like it always has.

If reason is flukes wouldn't they show on fresh water bath treatment?

The food they are getting is JBL Maris to be exact.

I would definitely feed nori at least every other day. I tie a green, red, and purple to my magnet and have it held in place with a rubber band. My tangs love it because they can graze all day long. Good luck!
