Yellow Tang losing weight

Over the last few weeks my yellow tang has been losing weight. I've been feeding tetra color marine flakes to the other fish (of which he was partaking), seaweed salad, and mysis shrimp. As of late he has not been eating well and has been losing weight. I noticed it was recommened to add some garlic to the seaweed salad. It spiked his interest but he is still not eating like he used to. I was at the lfs today and one of the employees suggested adding romaine lettuce. Here's my questions:

1) How should the lettuce be prepared?

2) What else can I do to help him out before I lose him?

I have checked all my water parameters and they all check out fine. No other fish are being affected.

- if you use romaine, just rinse it under fresh water very very well
- what's seaweed salad? have a link?
- nori and dried seaweed is good
- garlic - it might help if he has an internal worm... which would cause him to decrease weight, as other thigns do as well
- feed something high in spirulina - it should be one of the first 2-3 ingredients if you're feeding flake/pellets
- feed a little, often... not a bunch once or twice
- i have a skinny tang too, i''m going to try to put a little pryzopro in his food to kill internal worms if he has any
- he "could" be cyanide caught - which you can't really do anything to help and he will likely die

good luck!
