I just got a new yellow tang a few days ago. He is a rather large one at 4 1/2-5 inches long. He was fat at the store but he has gotten a pinched in stomach since I got him. I'm not worried about his pinched in stomach as it seems most tangs will get pinched in relatively quickly after not eating. He is hiding in the rocks most of the time and when he does come out he won't pick at the rocks, the algae clip, formula 2 pellets, or frozen mysis. There is a small sailfin tang that is about half the yellow's size which doesn't bother the yellow at all. I was hoping that the sailfin's picking at the clip would teach the yellow to do that but it hasn't so far. How long can he go without eating? When should I start to worry?
