Yellow tang tank size question

I would do it in knowing that it can outgrow this tank but you will have time to upgrade or trade him in for a small one......:artist:

Alone? Sure, fine. But it can be very aggressive with other fish. Be sure to add it last.

My yellow tang is in my 90 w/ a fairly recent add of a threadfin butterfly, both are the same size. There is also a fairly large maroon clown and a recent loss of a good size bicolor angel from a power loss issue from a tornado. A couple other small fish are mixed in too. The tang gets along fine w/ all..In the begining there was a little chasing, but not any real hardcore aggresion like a damsel will do. Once the tang and the threadfin fought a few weeks ago, it was a stalemate-tang tried to tail whip-threadfin used the sonic hedgehog defense..lol... So to answer your question a yel tang should be fine...

I do have a large center island of live rock with plenty of ways through to other side and keep flow going in a clockwise pattern. This probably helps with aggresion as well.
