Yellow Tang

OK, Got the new 55 gallon set up. Wife wants to add a Yellow Tang because she like the bright color. Will a Tang get along with the 2 false percs, Sailfin Blenny, GSP, Candy Cane, Mushrooms, BTA, and assorted snails and hermits? I know that 55 gallons is borderline for tangs, Live Aquaria says at least 50 and Marine Depot recommends 75. I only want one because we mainly want all corals. This would probably be the last fish until something bad happens. Any advice is appreciated.

IMO it would be ok, i would think that a 75 gallon is alot better, but a 55 is ok. I know alot of people will probally disagree with me though lol

You should be ok as long as you get one thats small. I would think about upgrading though when he gets bigger because tangs love to swim

No compatability issues. You should be fine.

you should med-tank him for a week or more befor putting him in your tank. Tangs get ick real easy.
