yellow tang

good morning,i went to my local lfs last night and bought a yellow tang.got it home ok accalimated him drip method,got him in the tank and then my coral beauty anglefish start on him the yt.i had the c b a for three plus yrs.i did do some research on yt and thought it would be fine until i read online that c b a can be territoral to new tank mates.so i took out the c b a and moved him to my 29gal bio-cube for now.can they be housed together or should i keep them apart for awhile.:eek1:

If at all possible move some rocks around in your tank, that will keep the CB busy trying to find a new territory thus giving the YT they same option..

Unfortunately Coral Beauty's are a real p.i.t.a. You could also try introducing the YT when the lights are off, may reduce the tension.

i will try with lights off,going to wait a couple days to let the yt get settled in. thank you

I think that's a good move. Also, as already said, moving some rocks can help too.
