Yellow Tang ?

if it's a 48" tank then possibly but you are at the limit and because of that the risk of it becoming stir crazy and taking it out on other fish just increases.
i myself keep a purple in a 48" 120 which some might consider too small.

Ultimately neither you nor the fish would be very happy.
If you are looking for a tang you might consider the Tomini Bristletooth. Yellow tail, fits your tank size, great fish

Am I looking up the wrong fish? When I search yellow tail tang it comes up with purple tang and It says minimum tank size 125.

You're on the edge basically of minimum tank size. Some would say you can, some would say you can't. Up to you.

I'm not going to do a yellow tang. I was looking for some bigger fish that I could have though that are reef safe. I suppose I could post the list that I have so far. I do like the look of the white tail tang.

Yeah, you'll want to post the whole list. Besides just each fish sized to tank, they have to get along with each other. It's easier to recommend fish when you know what else is going in. Meantime, check out melanurus wrasse. Mine is one of my faves, entertaining and hardy. Mine does eat snails on occasion.

I agree that it's not worth cutting it too close to the minimum. I mean, it's the minimum for a reason, I'm not one to see if I can get away with providing less than the minimum for my pets. Good call.

So I want a mixed reef
75gal DT

A bonded pair of o. clowns will take over approx 50 gals according to Snorvich and he should know. Then you won't have enough space for the rest of your fish.

Unless you have lots of algae, your Kole tang will end up in a territorial dispute with another tang. Your ember blenny is an algae eater as well?

Last but not least, Tangs are not peaceful but your Kole is more peaceful than most - usually.
