Yellow Tang ?

What would be a peaceful fish that's bigger?

I think 5-6" is the biggest fish you're going to be able to keep happy in a 75. I would not have more than 2 larger fish in there, so that's the kole and one other. My melanurus and kole are bffs, so you might swap out the Mcoskers for a larger gentle wrasse and call it a day.

I like my engineer gobies a lot too, they get pretty big but since they stay in the rocks a lot they don't take up much space. Idk if they would get along with a clown goby though.

That's just my experience tho, im not well-versed in who likes whom. A fish list is like putting together a puzzle, each piece affects the others. IMO the biggest mistake people make is stocking one at a time without regard for the big pic.

I had this fish once. I got the one from hell too. It HATED my goby and all the other fish. Traded him in long ago. Of course this was just my particular fish, they normally aren't that aggressive.

Decided not to get a Tang. I changed it for a peaceful fish.

Nice. Make sure the chromis is properly QT'd as they are prone to oodinium. A pretty friendly list you got there.

When I postes one of these types of fish in the fish list post area I was told no anthias. Don't know why.

I'm not 100% sure why, as they are fairly peaceful. They only reason I can think is that they are some of the largest fish that I personally would put in there.

It's recommended to feed anthias multiple times per day. People who can't commit to 3-4 feedings are often advised to pic another fish. Also some species are more fragile than others.

Idk how often the ocher striped cardinals come into the market. A chalk basslet might be a good sub if you have a hard time finding one.

Would u be able to keep a yellow tang in a 75gal tank?
I have a purple tang and a blue hippo tang in my 90 gallon marine land reef ready with no problems. They are both about the size of a half dollar. I'm pretty sure ur 75 gallon is the same width just shorter in height. If thats true im sure you would be okay with a smaller yellow tang just might have to rehome him or upgrade in a few years!!!!

Yeah I'm going to pass on trying to find a new home later. I would rather have fish that fit the tank I have. It's also better for the fish in the long run.

Very wise choice.
Both you and your fish will be happy.

I if I remember they both say with caution so I don't want to take a chance. I do like both fish though.

I have never seen a bristletooth tang that looked like that. Just a fair warning for anyone reading this thread.

Those pictures are exactly how mine looked.. wait weren't you the one telling people refugiums dont provide fish with pods..
