Hello m new to the hobby so i dnt know if it the light or m imaging thinks but my yellow tank is like losing his color in the bttom face looks like white what do u think guys ?
Salinity is a bit high (natural seawater is 1.026). Nitrate is higher than I personally would prefer, but it shouldn't hurt your fish. However, you shouldn't have any nitrite at all. How old is the tank?
The low ph, and sign of nitrite suggests this tank is not fully cycled?? Nitrate is the end product and will not harm fish. Nitrite is harmless also to an extent but should never be detected in a healthy stystem. Are you using a quarantine tank for new fish?
well the tank is new i have a biocube for 2 month and start leaking so i move everytthing to this one :/ how often i need to feed this fish and if i should use nori only ? about the nitrate i really dnt know how to lower this thing i never touch 0 the lower parameter i get is 10 or 15 right after wc them 2 or 3 days later go to 25 or more
i know the ph its low but i dnt want to use any buffer yet , any ideas pls ,i already put one power head aiming the surface of the water with no change...
Looks like the pic could be from right after the lights came on. Is it? Does the color return throughout the day? IME the color of saltwater fish tends to really wash out when the sleep, enough to be almost scary sometimes. If the color is coming back, your just seeing what he looks like before his morning coffee
