yellow watchman dieing?

My yellow watchman is starting to swim around all sporadically, and then just kinda sinks back to the bottom. it at times swims on its side and upside down. This can't be normal is it? Should i be worried?

Yes! Immediately test your water for: nitrates, nitrites, ammonia ---all should be 0, ideally. Especially ammonia. Check ph: that should be 8.3. Check salinity. 1.024 or thereabouts. Temp should be about 80.

Is this a new fish?

He just died, but yeah it was a new fish, my other fish is doing fine, so i'm thinking he was just sick.

I had a new Goby do that yesterday to me. He didn't make it. He was only in my tank 3 hours though. Just one of those things
