Yellow Watchman Goby/Tiger Pistol Pair Locked In

Ok, I have sort of a dumb question. The other day my powerhead fell and completely screwed up my sandbed, and seems to have plugged up by pair's entrances. Will they burrow out themselves, or do I need to help them out? After reading other threads I am leaning towards leaving them alone, but thought I would see what you guys thought.

They will make their own way out, unless you are talking like 20" or sand or something

They'll find their way out. I caused a cave in, and mine were fine.
