Put in tank Saturday. Added pistol shrimp today. together within seconds.
Fish has been under a rock since day two. Will he eventually venture out or have a bought a fish and shrimp that we won't see?

At times I can. The pistol has built up sand around it and dug out under it now

He was out this morning but wasn't looking good. I reached into the tank and he was breathing but didn't move much. Not sure if he will still be kicking after work

Just let them be & settle in. I didn't see my yasha for at least 2 weeks, maybe more. Mine paired up in under an hour. Only way I knew he was alive because we had a power outage at the office & he was swimming around at 9 pm in the dark lol.

They just kind of hang out & guard the house. Some are more active or personable than others.

I don't see much of mine. I don't know what size tank you have, but in my 120 gallon I only see them around feeding time.
