yellows

Donavon: Those are awesome. What type of lighting do you have them under? How fast do they grow? How long have you had them and how much $$$ were they. Ben

They are under 10k 175M/H W/ 2 70w VHO's actinics. I got them diving a few years back i picked four polyps off a rock & this is what they are now. they grow like a weed. I have never seen these for sale before as they are from the Atlantic ocean & it;s illegal to take live rock from there.

I dont have alot of yellow zoo's

hmm...come to think of it...I got some "what I thought was yellow" a few years ago the same way from FL waters. When I got them home though they were minty green so I gave them away :/ Wonder if they would have turned yellow under halides?

LOL...wonder if we picked from the same colony?

Could be, I see the greens all the time & for the most part the Blues don't hold there color. Iv'e only seen these in one place but they started dredging there & now all the zoos are gone. I'm sure they are out there somewhere probably in ankle deep water.

Rhoodhouse,

The zoa in your last pic is really cool. So many vibrant colors in it.

Donavons Reef,
Love those yellows, by far the best I have seen.

Thanks I've had them for awhile never realized that they were that hard to come by. I'm usually over on the LPS & shroom forums. Just stopped by to see all the awsome zoos.

roodhouse, if you have any other pics of the zoos in the last, I would love to see them. Very awesome colors, and the yellow in the center looks very yellow to me. It would be very nice to see other shots pleeeeeeease...

Donavonsreef, wow!

Coralfarm123 & WendyMc...Thanks...
The zoo's you are talking about are very interesting looking indeed. I have not been able to get a good shot of them yet. I will try again. They are actually zellow on one side and red on the other. I only have maybe 3 polyps of them. Thanks I'm glad someone picked up on the odd colors...
Thanks
Rodney Hood

that frag has been through a lot and still doing great. It lost a little color in the move from my 58 to my tub tank, but now they are finally starting to take off and grow. :D yay!
