Just would like to hear some of your thoughts on them. I personally like them because of bright color it gives tank, but I heard it might be hard to keep some more peaceful fish. It's a 29 gallon.

I would take him out and return him. I prefer to do a fishless cycle. It less cruel and harmful on the fish.

I should ask how long has the tank been cycling first.

Well, the tank has sat empty with live rock and sand for 4 weeks. Just added him in 2 days ago with yellow head jawfish

Cycling a tank with a living fish should never be done. You can cycle an aquarium without issue by tossing in a table shrimp or ghost feeding without harming a fish. Either method will cause an ammonia spike and get the cycle started.

On the damsel in a tank of that size, it's best to leave damsels to the larger tanks. I'd suggest at least a 50 gallon tank to give othe fish enough space to be with it.

sounds like you are just starting your cycle. I agree with Kyle. I would remove both fish and do a fishless cycle.

Wait no, this is not a new tank. I previously had the tank with fish in it but all fish died because of ich. I was out of town and wasn't able to put fish in quarantine tank. I've cleaned it all out.
