darn no ideas from anyone.

i am finally starting to places names on the pics that i have and these dont have any yet

Tim

#2 i think is an A. nana. I don't think #4 is a tenuis (though I may be wrong). I've got a very similar coral to it and the corallite spacing is much "bunchier" than on a tenuis. That said, I also don't have a guess as to what it is, as I've been trying to id mine for a while.

well it doesnt look too much liek the tenius that i have sitting near it. but i could be wrong on that id too. thanks though.

this is what i was told is a tenius, is it true

sorry it a pic from about 6mo ago but you get the pic

That I'd say looks like a tenuis. Here's my Paletta blue A tenuis:

Here's my other one that looks similar to the first you posted:

That's an old pic, the valonia isn't there anymore. :D

the shape of the coralites, i think thats what it is called is different than the tenius, not scaley like drakes is, more nodular and bunchy

yeah taking forever to coloor up and grow. had this coral for a year now and not more than an inch of growth, but color is nice

i still need an id for # 1, probably one of the coolest pieces i have, getting a deep red with purple to it, showing better color everyday.

Tim

bump to keep on the first page. well i spent a good while on a page trying to id 1 and confirm a couple of others, i am pretty sure that #2 is the nana and #4 might be a vermiculata but the growing polyp or coralite ( whatever it is) isnt the same as the vermic, more of a cross between that and the tenius. but thats all i can confirm for myself. the cerealis is close except the branches are thicker and have a little different growht pattern on the lower branches, but none the less VERY close.

thanks
Tim

darnit, the more i look at the differnt acros, the more i get confused. i was also thinking A. Rosaria for the Cerealis
