pretty sure i have a mantis now, let me know if you agree okay? I have a 10 gal for about a year now. When i set it up i heard tons of clicking, heard about these guys and thought it would be cool if i had one. so before i went home for christmas i saw that all my blue leg hermits were piled up in front of one of my rocks and not moving upon further inspection of them the shells were broken at the rim of the shell. and all placed in front of a cave i made in the rock. I have never seen this lil guy and would love to. any thoughts ideas? one concern i have is that my tank is glass yikes!! let hope i dont wake up to water all over one night!! thanks for your comments.

i doubt its big enough to hide in the rock and break the glass, its most likely an inch or two at the most

Put a red light on the tank at night, then after about a week get a 6pack and watch the tank after all the lights are out. It should come out for you to see.
