ok so they werent expensive, rare, or anything fancy but i saved a small 2 polyp colony of zoos from the lfs that i never even saw open before i bought them. they pretty much gave them to me for free. i broght them home and it took almost a month in my new 10 gal for them to open up and to my surprise they were very pretty with purple skirts and neon green mouths. anyhoo they finally produced a new polyp that is open and healthy looking! its my first coral growth in my first saltwater tank ever! wish i had a camera that could take a pic so i could get an id on them and i suppose it would make this thread a little more interesting! sorry for the rambling.
