yes! a very intense red long tentacle anemone. do these pop up with any frequency anywhere? this is the first one ive ever seen in person and maybe the 3rd ive ever even heard of....

I think maybe I have seen 2 in person in my life. One of them I bought. It was small and a little bleached and it didn't make it. I got it pretty cheap. I was at a high end frag store, but the owner didn't think it was anything special.

That's the best kind of deal IMO! Got a few things that way over the years, saved a lot of money I didn't always have.

I saw one...and bought it . . .about 6 years ago. It was something, stuck out like a big red sore thumb at the store. Unfortunately it was injured on the foot and it didnt make it, but I had to try. If I ever see one again I would snap it up in a second! Good luck with it.

I had my red for about 3 months, it never was truely happy, and wasted away.

It looks more orange than red in the picture, but was redder to the eye.
