Your club...

Would you like to see your club featured in Reefkeeping Magazine's "Club Showcase?" Take this opportunity to tell the world all about your club. Articles should include thorough information on the club, its history, activities and any other info you'd like to share, as well as some pictures of the club. For a general guideline of what we're looking for in the articles, please check out some of the previous club's articles here:

If you'd like to participate, please send me a private message.

Thanks!

I'm in favor of showcasing CMAS. It is one of the most heavily trafficed forums on RC... isn't it?

I believe we are second only to the So. California group......

We are such a double edged sword for the poor moderators, we bring in a ton of traffic and hits to Reef Central so they dont want us to stop posting, but then we get a little crazy in out OT discussions.

I'm grateful but.....stunned?

Such a generous offer after:

"There are 100+ club forums here, not one of them comes close to taking the amount of staff attention that is expended in CMAS. You want to discuss bad for business? Your club is bad for RC's business because it keeps the staff from participating in constructive reef discussion."

Once again, please do not misunderstand my post. I cannot speak for the club, but I would think the offer would be well appreciated, but for myself, I'm very confused?

 classic throw in your face fodder:lol:
and you didn't even use the best ones Ed ;)

Don't be confused, there are plenty of people that use this forum as it is intended, and stick to the [ua].
You caught me, I was wrong to phrase my quote above as I did. It's not necessarily CMAS that takes up a disproportionate amount of staff time/resources. It's a fairly small bunch that may or may not actually be CMAS members that use this forum inappropriately.
If it were actually CMAS as I mistakenly eluded to in earlier post(s), the solution would be easy, just close the forum.
There still exists a large number of people that "get it". Reef Central welcomes their participation on the board, and in Reefkeeping Magazine's club showcase.
I apologize for not recognizing the two distinctly different types of posts earlier.

I appreciate the clarification. Thank you.

Larry, thank you very much for the clarification! ;) CMAS does appreciate Reef Central and the opportunity to have a forum on this site.

Boyd :)
