Does anyone have any experience with Pseudoanthias pleurotaenia (Squarespot Anthias)
I have read they do better on their own, and they get fairly large. That's ok for me, I would more or less like to know how they are with tank mates. Will females change to male, as with other anthias?
Here is what is in the tank now:
-Lyretail Anthias - I have 2 now. I will have 6-8 by the time the Squarespot is in the tank.
-Pair of Percula Clowns
-Blue Jaw Trigger
-Powder Blue Tang
-Yellow Tang
-Green Mandarin
-Sixline Wrasse
-Watchmen Goby
-Dragonfaced Pipefish
I also have a large Fire Shrimp, Harlequin Shrimp, and some peppermints. I wouldn't miss the peppermints if they were to get eaten though honestly.
I also have a Neon Goby..... but to be honest he lives in the overflow box, not the main tank.
My tank is an oceanic 180 gallon (6x2x2). I have a Poseidon PS4 return, 2 Vortech Mp40W, and 2 Koralia #3 for in tank circulation.
The tank is fed 3 times a day. I run a MSX300 and Vodka/MB7 Dosing. Tank temperature stays between 78.5-79.1
Thanks!
