your opinions, please

Hi! Three days ago I picked up my very first bubble tip anemone. Like a good noob reefer, I poured over forum after forum, and while I learned a lot it has also made me quite paranoid about the health of my critter.

I basically would just like a little clarification on a few uncertainties, and have you take a look at my anemone and give me your opinions as to whether or not it looks okay, or if some intervention might be needed. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, right?

It has deflated and reinflated a handful of times but I've read that's normal while adjusting to the new tank. He's moved around a bit but within the same 6"-8" area. He's more or less stayed in the spot you see in the pic(s) for the last 24hrs or so. Foot has good grip. He's hosted by a maroon clown. I've read you don't need to spot feed when hosted, but I've also come across info that says I should feed during the acclimation period. Are both true? The clownfish is incredibly territorial and attacks when I go anywhere near it, so spot feeding might get interesting. Any tips to deal with this?

I snap pics of it every day to compare color of foot/tentacles because I'm scared to death of bleaching. Color seems constant but it has only been 3 days. Does his coloring look okay? He was under LEDs in the LFS and now under 2x250w MH. Should the extreme change in light intensity be a concern?

Sorry for ten million questions. The wellbeing of my livestock is very important to me and I want to do good by them.

My tank:
6 months old
65 gal (24" deep)
2x250w MH
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 5ppm
Phosphate 0
pH 8.4 (8.1 at night)
Temp 80-82

Forgot to mention his mouth was opened slightly when I first put him in, but seems to stay tightly shut now. No discharge of internal tissues. There where a couple mucousy clouds but they tend to purge some of their zooxanthellae under new conditions right? I'm assuming that was the mucous, right?

sounds good color, sticky foot, not gaping mouth. the mouth can drive one nuts until you learn ur nems personailty/traits. that rock tho looks freshly cured xD

Thanks for the reply. I get way too stressed out and start googling stuff which stresses me even more. It's like going on WebMD... by the time you're done looking stuff up you're convinced you're dying. You've helped put my mind at ease (for now) lol
