Your Reef GRAND OPENING

Let's not all forget that John's big opening is this weekend. It's a big day for John & his wife, I stopped by there this afternoon and they were both working hard to get the shop ready for the opening. I'm sure that John would appreciate all of us turning out to help him open the store for the first time.

When I first walked into the store, let me say that I was pleasantly overwhelmed by the scent of wood. The store cabinets & the front counter are covered in a beautiful wood finish. I'm almost tempted to take my shoes off next time before I go in. Absolutely stunning is the only way I could sum it up. John has been hard at work, and the quality of store that he is putting together really shows that hard work.

NOW BRING ON THE $^%$^&% CORAL & FISH, WE'VE BEEN TEASED LONG ENOUGH!.

John, good luck with your grand opening, and with your new adventure.

where is his store? i wanna check it out. his store came at a good time since both riptide and aquaworld are now closing, that means more traffic for him. john needs to be shure to get in the next phone book, my dad and i agree that may have been part of riptides problem, i mean besides the net where do you turn when looking for a place that has what you want?

is it true that its a marine only store? i think thats a great idea since there are none around.

the store should be awsome, i mean come on even his garage full of stuff was awsome

Nope, he will have some fresh water fish. About 1/10th of the store will be fresh. He is definitely focusing on salt water.

Just to add a little more for the grand opening, he is having an actual ribbon cutting on friday @ 10am. It would be cool, for those who can, to have as many mars members there as possible.

That's weird I just stoped by there 2 months ago, and wondered how they stayed in business. I was not impressed with the dying corals and fish swiming sideways..

I guess I was not alone..
Although it looks like they had good prices on dry goods..

I didn't see any, but I didn't get int toeh back half of the store at all. John & his wife were working to get the place ready for opening, sothey were a little busy. I was only there a few minutes.

just thought that quote fit this topic with every one stuck at work and trying to find a way to get to the new store

i'll see if i can swing by on friday, chances are it will be around 6 when my dad gets off work. i don't work but i don't drive yet either!!!

The store is still called Your Reef. I'm pretty sure his hours will be 11-7 Mon thru Sat and 11-6 on sundays. Check with john to be sure.
