how large is your tank? chevrons don't stay that way forever . here is my 5.5" one . love him, but wouldn't think it would be a "Show Piece"

It is a 125 gallon tank, and I am quite fond of the chevron tang. They are actually the only non brightly colored fish I like at this point in time. I know they start out as bright red/orange fish then turn brown-black with lines.
