Your Skimmer Gunk

So what does your skimmer's gunk look like? Here is my weeks worth. This stuff smells rancid to say the least. The wife usually complains about the smell the whole time and goes to another room while I clean it.

Yeah the wife can smell it a room away! Its awful. I likes your bubbles Chris. You adding a riser to make it a MR3? I almost got a MR skimmer for the future planned FOWLR but, I was afraid of the noise issue.. I picked up this beauty that has yet to see water on ebay a couple of weeks ago:

I run mine dry, so it is usually about 1" thick on everything after a week...

Gary I bet one inch thick of a solid black poo bar. Yeah, Chris its the AP600. I would love bigger but $$$. I couldnt say no to the ebay deal. As soon as I decide on the size for the new tank and find one it will get its action. I am still trying to convince the wife to let me make the huge tank that I removed from Angela's garage last weekend salt . She wants it though for her freshwater tank.... How is K-Ville? I assume you have hit up all the LFS there already? How do they compare to here?

I made my girlfriend gag one time because I was cleaning it in the sink, she didn't know what I was doing, and she walked into a wall o' stank. Personally, I prefer it to the cat litter box, but maybe I'm weird.

Be carefull what you wish for with a larger tank. I'm getting the 120 like I want it has been a bear but I am getting there.
We like it here so far but I miss Nashvegas as well. Normal for a homebody like me I guess and it's only been 2 weeks. I have been to both of the larger stores here that carry corals. They seem to be ok.....hard to judge with just one visit.
