I have some pink yumas on a piece of branch LR but they aren't very pink, they are a semi-transluscent fleshy pink, not very nice looking actually. The guy I got them from had them high up in his tank and had them lit with 250 watt MH.
At first I thought they were bleached, but now that they've been in my sump only lit by a CF screw in I have my doubts. They have been down there for a couple of weeks now and probably a month in my display (175 mh on the sand) for another month before. I figured that some of the colour would come back but it hasn't, so I guess I'm stuck with crappy yumas?
I'll post pics later, but what kind of lighting are you guys with the pinks getting the best results from?
There are such a thing as deep water yumas, no? Where are yumas most commonly found anyhow?
