Yumas Shrunk

I have two purple yumas. I went on vacation and had someone inexpeiriennced taking care of me tank. The nitrate went through the roof and the yumas shrunk. Everything else recovered after I brought the parameters back to normal. The yumas are still shrunk and don't seem to be able to expand at all. Is there any reason why they would do this?

How long has it been? Yumas are pretty sensititive so I'd give them time, at least a week.

Its been about two months now.
