Hi everyone
My name is Aydýn and Im from Turkey...

I have a pair of yellow watchmans which gave 3 births already. After a failure at the First attemp the Second try lasted 8 days. The Third one was aided with s.strain rotifers and phtyoplankton. The score was better and managed to live 13 days. (about 100 or so larvea)

Now they laid eggs again. Can soneone especially Mr. Nicole give me a step by step guide for the first 15 days. I have phytos aretmia and s.strain rotifers growing ready for the larvea.

By the way The eggs hatced 1 July around 9 evening. SO need a guide as soon as possible. Tank you in advance to anyone who can help...,

have you found that article in the online magazine about this species, along with some old threads that probably answer all y our questions.

By the way the hurdle it seems is that S rotifers are required.

Must i add some phytoplankton to larvae tank at the end of incubation period. I couldn't find any information about this.

Generally adding phytoplankton or using a green water technique will more than likely help you rear this and almost all species.

Hi, I'm from South Africa. I'm on my second successfull batch of YWG. I got about a 100 through on the first and maybe a few hundred this time, they're just starting to settle now! If you getting them to 13 days you're not far off. I had a few batches that died around day seven, despite feeding well. Growth is very slow at first and seems to accelerate towards the end. Age at metamorphasis and larval size varies considerably between fry. How big were you're fry at day 13? Was their gut developed? Good luck!
